|The Sahara Desert||
- The Fennec fox, the smallest species of fox, are native to the Sahara desert in Africa.
- They have their big ears for a few reasons. They radiate out all the access heat, which helps them keep cool in the desert heat. Their ears also help in case any predators are around or to locate their prey, even if it's underground.
- They usually feed on small rodents, insects, birds and different kinds of desert plants.
- The fennec foxes fur coat and ears have adapted to high temperature, not a lot of water , and desert enviornments.
